Kompanya.com ("Kompanya", "we", "us") is operated by AGMS Information Technology Inc., Ground Floor, Weber Hotel, Brgy. Jubay, Liloan, Cebu. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you register we require an email address (used to log in and recover your password) and a password. You may optionally add a display name.

Profile information. Depending on the hubs you use, you may provide job seeker details (personal details, educational background, work experience) and employer details (company information).

Content you post. Job posts, events, applications and messages you submit through the platform.

Technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the marketplace: matching job seekers and employers.
  • To show your profile and applications to the employers you apply to.
  • To send password reset emails and important service notifications.
  • To generate documents you request, such as quotations for job post plans.
  • To protect the platform against fraud and abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your information is shared only: with employers or clients you apply to; with service providers that host our infrastructure (databases, file storage, email and SMS delivery); or when required by law.

4. The AI assistant

Some features ask an AI service to write or read something for you: drafting a cover letter from the resume you are applying with, answering an employer's questions about the applicants for their job post, and turning an employer's own material into a job description. None of them happens unless somebody asks for it, and each one produces a draft or an answer for that person to read — nothing is published, sent or decided by asking.

Personal details are replaced before anything is sent. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and dates of birth are swapped for placeholders such as [NAME_1] or [PHONE_2] on the way out, and the real values are put back into the answer when it reaches you. The AI service is given the words — the experience, the skills, the question — and not the person. This is not a setting anyone can turn off.

Placeholders are put in for the details we can recognise: the fields you filled in as a name, an address or a phone number, and anything in your own words that reads as an email address, a phone number or a date of birth. Two things they cannot cover, so that you know where the line is: a picture attached to a job description is sent to the AI service as the picture it is, and free text can name people — a former employer, a referee — in ways nothing can recognise as a name. What the AI provider does with a request it receives is governed by that provider's own terms, and which provider this site is pointed at is chosen by its superadmin.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored in managed databases and, for uploaded files, in S3-compatible object storage. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Your choices

  • You can toggle the Job, Employer and Events hubs on or off in account settings.
  • You can edit or remove profile details at any time.
  • You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

8. Children

Kompanya is not intended for persons under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page.
